One burning question/issue
There is one burning question/issue i have before i make the final decision on moving on from WoW to guildwars..... and that is...do you actually get to see each other around inworld... i heard from someone that once you leave the "city" that if alone or with a party you would only be able to see yourself or that if your party, and not meet others in the world...just in the city..i would like a awnser to that one burning issue since it will detirmine if i will crossover or just quit wow and finally get a real life and set my computer on the pavement :P
Kind regards Thraxx and thanks for an awnser in advance |

The world is instanced so you wont be meeting anyone outside of towns.

You won't run into any other parties once you leave town, but you'll still be able to chat with anyone in your guild and alliance. Plus, you'll be able to PM anyone who's got themselves set to "on-line." (That's where the Friends list comes in real handy.)

areas are totally instanced, so you wont ever have to wait in line for that boss again.

You don't see anyone outside but you and you're party, but the community is very easy to reach at all times and towns/ouposts are all over the place, so you won't be struck by loneliness or anything. It's not like once you leave an outpost you're cut off from the world. You'll probably be in a town or oupost half of the time, so you wont be stuck for ages in an explorable area without contact. It's not bad at all, try to find a trial key first and join a guild. Then see how you like it out of an outpost.
